Random stuff

So I've been a little obsessed with reading a lot of Twilight fan fic recently ...

And I found me another good one:  Iadorepugs Fanfiction.  She's awesome, and has two stories, A Stable Romance and Ride the Wind - which she just updated this weekend - so yay!

On a rather sad note, my beloved cat, Macavity is not doing so well.  I've had him for almost 19 years, since I was fourteen.  He is my boy, my everything, my kid with fur.  My mom is helping me take him to the vet on Thursday for ... you know.  I can't even talk about it - cause if I do, the reality will hit me and then I'll start crying and I won't be able to stop.  *sigh*  So if I'm not around for a few days, that's why.  Though, more than likely, I will be, because I'll need the distraction.

Also, I wanted to give a big "Hooray!!!!!!" to Jenny Jerkface and Snarkier Than You over at Twitarded - I'm so glad that whole thing with Summit got taken care of!!!  I was in your corner, girls!  :-)

It's another gloomy day in the neighborhood ...

I'm just wondering ... did I move to the Pacific Northwest or something?  Cause it's been hellishly cold for October; so cold that I actually broke down and turned on the heat yesterday.  (The fact that I could practically see my breath in the house had a lot to do with that.)  It's been rainy and cold - kind of makes me wonder how I'll get the kiddles to keep warm come Halloween ... lots of layers, I guess.

But I was checking out some of my fave blogs, and the lovely TwiCrackAddict posted some drop dead gorgeous pictures of Taycob ... mmmm.  Okay, so he's only 17 and drooling over pics of him makes me feel like a perv - sort of.  *le sigh*  And then someone made the suggestion that someone needs to write a Taycob version of "The Office" about those pics.  ::thud:: 

I'm just going to stare at this picture for a while so I stop thinking unpure thoughts about Taycob. 

And this post from JJ on Twitarded almost made me spit out my tea all over my monitor this morning, LMAO.  Makes me want to get my own FSE, lol.  Maybe Mr. TM will get me one for my birthday?  Yeah, I didn't think so.

Mmm ... smut!

Very tired ... just got home from work and putting the girls on the bus. Eating my yummy McD's breakfast platter with hot chocolate ... it's yucky yuck yuck weather here today, rainy and cold! It looks like it's going right from a few days of nice fall weather into winter! Brrr! Work didn't go too badly last night, pretty quiet, if a bit hectic at times. I stayed up all night Tuesday night reading "The Office" by tby789, which is FANTASTIC!!!! She hasn't finished it yet, but I'm hoping she comes out with the next chapter ASAP, because I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what's going to happen. She's promised a happy ending, but with bumps along the way. Gaahhhh! I do enjoy me some smutty smut smut and *whew*!!! *fans self* It is amazing! I'm off to read more smutty goodness, and then take a nap before the kiddles get home.

Some background info on me: I'm about to be 32, a proud mom to six-year-old twin girls, Lizzie and Becca, and married to my own personal Edward, my wonderful husband, who shall be named Mr. TwinsMom, or Mr. TM for short. :-D I work at a hospital as a nursing tech, and I'm slooooowly working my way through my prerequisites to go into Nursing. And I'm one of those Twilight people, so my obsession will undoubtedly work it's way in here from time to time (or all the time, who am I kidding?).
